I made a trip to Germany between the 4th and 14th of February 2007; it was a lecture tour that took me to Frankfurt and Marburg where the University is establishing what they hope to be the leading institute on Arabic and Islamic studies in Germany. following Marburg visit, I proceeded to Heidelberg, where I gave a lecture to leaders of the business community on "The Future of the Middle East." In Berlin, I gave the same lecture to graduate students at the Humboldt University and held meetings with political advisors to the major German political parties at the Parliament. And in Munich, I met with and spoke to intellectuals about issues of concern and received invitations to give few lectures in June at the two leading universities in the city; details will be published later.
